Obituary of Hunter Logan Rogers

Hunter Rogers, age 31, of Dunlap, TN passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. Hunter was the sweetest, kind hearted, and happiest person. He never met a stranger and loved everyone. The genuine sweet smile he kept on his face always brightened every room. He was loved and adored by anyone who ever met him. His favorite things were jamming out to his favorite country music on his tablets, lots of favorite snacks (Reeses Cups were his favorite), his cats, his family, and his beloved caregiver and best friend Debbie Pursley. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Brenda Smith, paternal grandparents, Brenda Sue Whitworth, Eddie Rogers and Bennie Whitworth; maternal great-grandparents, Norma-Jean Lacey, T.A. Smith, Venia Smith and Willis Smith; paternal great-grandparents, Kelly and Hazel Minton, Don and Della Rogers. Hunter is survived by his parents, Barry and Tracy Rogers; sisters, Kelsie and Brookelyn Rogers; niece, Emilia Hudson, grandfather, Dennis Smith. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Darrel Nance and Bro. Mark Price officiating. Burial will be in the McGlothen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, January 6, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. CST. In Lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
