Jerry "Butch" Stinnett, age 72, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his home.
Jerry was a member of Garrison Baptist Church and attended Brayton Baptist Church. He loved to fish and loved his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Lee and Bertha Rose Stinnett; brothers, Eddie Dean and Danny Ray Stinnett.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Stinnett of Graysville, TN; daughter, LeAnn Lynch of Graysville, TN; granddaughters, Stephanie Rose and Lindsey Rose, both of Graysville, TN; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Becky (Roger) Gunter of Evensville, TN; brother, Jason Stinnett of Spring City, TN; sisters-in-law, Shelia Stinnett of Evensville, TN and Janette Newton of Chattanooga, TN; special brother-in-law, Billy (Kathy) Ferguson of Dayton, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by special long-time friends, Bobby Hudson, Ken Hudson, Dean Swafford, Robert Swafford, Glenn Patton, Hugh Jack Barnett, Charles Elder Jimmy Riggs and Eddy Summers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis McChargue officiating. Burial will be in Brayton Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.
