Cleston "Lamar" Smith, age 62, formerly of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother, Treva Dennis; grandparents, Homer and Effie Davis, Roy and Venia Smith.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sha Newman and Jill Newman; parents, Clayton and Ann Smith of Dunlap; brother, Johnny Lamont (Jill) Smith of Van Buren, AR; sister Jacquelin Cordell of Georgetown, Theresa (Scott) Davis of Signal Mtn; three beloved grandchildren, Tyler Harvey, Bradley Goodman, and Jessie Layne; as well as seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday December 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Hixson Cemetery in Pikeville, TN with Brother Brian Kerns officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home 50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN. No visitation will be held.
