Obituary of Kelly Michele Elrod

Kelly Michele Elrod, age 62, of Dunlap, TN passed away Thursday December 5, 2024 surrounded by her children and the amazing medical staff at Memorial North Park Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Kelly was full of love, compassion, and kindness. She loved all her family and friends fiercely and it showed through her actions. If you needed her she was there for you. She always taught her kids to be kind and to do everything out of love. Kelly loved spending time with her family, it was her favorite thing to do. She loved for her kids and grandkids to brush her hair, share a meal, snuggle up to watch a movie, and even porch sit. To know Kelly was to love her. While she will be immensely missed, we find comfort knowing she is with the Lord and no longer in pain. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dwight Elrod; mother, Clara Ramsey; and niece, Jennifer Marshall. She is survived by her children, Mande (Thomas) Brown, James (Holly) Elrod, Juanita Dawn (Joel) Doss; grandchildren, Rose, Colton, Violet, Daisy, Carson, Jada, Ivy, Briar, Zoey, and Dwight; father, Doyle Ramsey; siblings, Brenda (Gene) Kerns, Linda (Tim) Denton, Eva (JR) Ables, Michael (Sherry) Ramsey; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Serving as pallbearers are James Elrod Jr, Joel Doss Jr, Bo Ramsey, Thomas Brown, Bobby Grant, and Zach Brown. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Anthony Gossett officiating. Burial will be in the Whispering Pine Cemetery.
