Albert Don "Araba" Pursley, age 72, of Dunlap, TN passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his home. He was known as the go-cart man to many and enjoyed racing go-carts, wrestling, dirt track racing, and NASCAR racing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Una Pursley; one sister; and five brothers, Charles, Harold, Toby, Billy Joe, and Jackie Pursley.
He is survived by his wife LaVada Purlsey; two sisters, Emma Allen of Georgia, and Georgia James of Soddy-Daisy; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN.
