Katherine Ann Sims, age 45, of Cowan, TN, formerly of Dunlap, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 at her home. She was a loving, caring person who loved Jesus with all her heart and always had a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Sims Sr.
She is survived by her fiancé, Steven Henson; mother, Catherine Sims, Dunlap; four sisters, Imogene (James) Cribbs, Marie (Eddie) Ledford, Teresa Sims (Darren Christian), all of Dunlap, and Jane (Timothy) White, Livingston; two brothers, Edward (Valerie) Sims Jr. and Justin Lee Sims, both of Dunlap; special nieces and nephew, Mallory Golden, Sophia Christian, and Kolson White; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 8 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro Bill Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Granny Walker Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Monday 1:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
