Mary Philpott, age 92, of Jasper, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at her home. She enjoyed singing and playing guitar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Philpott; sons, Ronnie and Roger Philpott; sisters, Jennie Dalton, Bernice Layne, Bobbie Case, Lillie Pearson, Carolyn Layne and Virginia Kilgore; brothers, Richard and William Reynolds; and dear friend, Charlsie Rowland.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris (Jerry) Boston of Jasper, TN; son, Charles (Juanita) Philpott of Waverly, TN; grandchildren, Brian (Susan) Philpott, Brandon Philpott, Jason (Kayla) Boston, Sabrina (Kevin) Sisk, Chad (Ronda) Philpott, Ryan (Allie) Philpott, Bethaney (Kevin) Spencer; great-grandson and caregiver, Dalton Henegar, and other dearly loved great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Clifford) Anderson of Jasper, TN; brother, Fred (Janet) Reynolds of Jasper, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. CDT at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN with Charles Jenkins officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy. 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT.
