John West, age 62, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, September 6, 2024.
John never met a stranger. He loved everyone and loved to help others. He was known for his generosity and giving heart. He enjoyed collecting eagles and could often be seen working a word search puzzle. He loved music and liked to travel and visit family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Eva West; and brother, Steve West.
He is survived by his cousins, Tammy and Marvin Jackson, Gary and Sally Miller and Rick and Beverly Clingan; and several other family members.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Rigsby Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
