Sadly, Patrick Duffy passed away August 16, 2024 at his home in the Viridian in Nashville, Tennessee. He had been experiencing recent health challenges.
Patrick was born on December 4, 1983 in Savannah, GA. He is survived by his father, Bob Duffy and stepmother Helen Duffy of Savannah, GA, his mother Cindy McGinnis of Spencer, TN, his brother Ryan Duffy of Savannah, GA, his stepsister Channing Ansley Grate of Washington, DC, and stepbrothers Paul Sanford of Houston, TX and Peter Sanford of Canton, GA. He attended public schools in Savannah, GA, graduated from high school from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, and attended Full Sail University.
After graduating from Full Sail, Patrick ventured forth to Nashville, TN. He was initially employed at a call center for Priceline, then at an Apple retail center, and next as a scheduler at the Nashville MTA. Patrick enjoyed listening to music, playing the guitar and keyboard, and getting together with friends. He liked cars, especially fast ones. His cat and companion, Marvin, could not have imagined a better roommate; Marvin has found a new home.
Patrick never knew a stranger for very long and had many friends and acquaintances. His childhood buddies from Savannah, teachers, school mates, fellow campers, bus operator friends and colleagues from the visually impaired community span several states. No funeral or memorial service is planned at this time. Please share your thoughts and condolences at his obituary page at reedfamilyfh@bledsoe.net.
