DaWanda Kay Sitz 69, of Whitwell, passed away on August 14, 2024.
She was the Church of God faith. She worked for Reed Funeral Home for 20 years. She was born and raised in Whitwell Tennessee, and loved and served her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Marshall "Tubby" Sitz and Shirley Temple Sitz.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Cory Pickett of Whitwell; her precious dog, Zoey and 2 dear friends Debbie Johnson and Susan Banas.
Services will be held Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2pm CDT in the chapel with Rev. Josh Holtcamp officiating. Burial will be at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5pm to 9pm and Friday, August 16, 2024 from 12pm till time of service.
