Lynda Patricia Layne, age 75, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at her home. She was of the Church of God Faith. Lynda loved her family and spending time with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Junior Layne; parents, Roy and Mary Hall; sister, Gladys Rodgers; brothers, Pete and Willard Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (James) Hendrick; son, Darryl Layne, both of Dunlap, TN; grandchildren, Greg and Derrick Layne, and Liberty and Chandler Hendrick; great-grandson, Tyler Layne; sister, Janie Louallen, Dunlap; brother, Roy V. Hall, MO; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Camp Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 4:00-8:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT.
