Walta Mae Land, age 81, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at NHC Healthcare of Dunlap. Walta Mae worked as a cosmetologist at Bouffant Hair Salon for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Irene Seals.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Land; two sons, Jonathan Land and Jason (Jennifer) Land; three grandchildren, Mason and Hazel Land, and Sophie Bugg-Tezic.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 14, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Cagle-Mt Pleasant Cemetery with Bro Donny Deweese officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CDT and Sunday 12:00-1:00 p.m. CDT.
