Mary Florence Roberson, age 94, of Pikeville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
"Flo" as she was known by most was of Christian faith. She was an active member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary Unit 110 serving veterans in the Bledsoe County area and 2000-2001 as the State of Tennessee Commander of the Auxiliary. Flo was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edward G. Roberson; parents, LETA Mae and Samuel Swafford; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Frank Cagle; and sister-in-law, Jean Roberson.
She is survived by her children, Bill Roberson, Oak Ridge, TN; daughter, Yvonne Roberson of Hixson, TN and Linda Roberson of Pikeville, TN; brother, Walter L. Swafford of Florida; one grandson, Joel Overton of Hixson; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. CDT.
