Billie Ann Hobson 94, of Pikeville, passed away June 27, 2024.
Mrs. Billie was a charter member of First Southern Baptist Church, where she was the director of the Womans Mission Union for more than 30 years. She was very active in her Church and in her community. You could find her a few times a week at Sells Building Supply where she worked part time for many years. She was the director of the Bledsoe County Relay for Life. She loved to travel and was famous for her coconut cake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hobson; and parents, W.B. and Marie Walker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy (Jimmy) Reece, Pikeville and Charles (Karen) Hobson, Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Brian Reece, Kevin (Angie) Reece, Blair (Rob) Paxton and Tyler Hobson; great- grandchildren, Maddy Reece, Keylin Reece, Gavin (Lauren) Blaylock, Macy Hobson Paxton and Everleigh Paxton; and great-great-grandchildren, Brinlee and Knox Blaylock.
The Fidelis Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at First Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Whitaker and Bro. Bill Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Wilson Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam- Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Memorial Contributions can be made to First Southern Baptist Church Building Fund.
