Obituary of Lucille V. Boyd

Lucille V Blaylock Boyd, age 93, of Pikeville, TN, died at her home, June 26, 2024. She was of the Church of God faith, was passionate about caring for others and was a leader and the main boss. She loved to travel and go sight seeing. Lucille was a yard sale fanatic, loved fishing and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Lucille loved to sing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Blaylock and Avis Hankins Blaylock; 8 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 grandson, James Eddie Williams. She is survived by her children, Edward (Karen) Haston, Dayton, OH, Mac (Stacy) Boyd, Pikeville, TN, Wavaline (Dexter) Troglin, Crossville, TN, Evelyn (Kenneth) Williams, Corbin, KY, Frances (Dickie) Rice, Clay City, KY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Flossie Haston, Dayton, OH; 2 half-sisters; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike McCoy and Bro. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Blaylock Cemetery.
