George Pietrogallo, Sr., age 92, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born May 21, 1932 in Detroit, MI. George was a man of integrity, compassion, optimism, and humor, with a deep love for his family and for the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be forever remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his devotion to the Lord, his bright and cheerful personality, his readiness to laugh and play, and service to his country, strong work ethic and genuine character. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 45 years, Jobyna (Jo) Davenport Pietrogallo; brothers, Carl, Jim, John, Mike, Pat and Tony; and sisters, Katherine and Josie. He is survived by his wife, Rose Lockwood Pietrogallo; children, George (Alice) Pietrogallo, Jr., Thomas S. Pietrogallo and Timothy Allen (Amy) Pietrogallo; grandchildren, Alex, Courtney, Sam and Joe Pietrogallo; and daughter-in-love, Diana Pietrogallo. Funeral services will be held to honor his life and legacy on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
