John D. Lawson 77, of Whitwell, TN. passed away May 20, 2024. He enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of his farm where he raised Alpacas, Lamas and Cattle. John was a hard worker. He loved his Family and cherished time spent with them. He was a loving Husband and a great Father.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Louise Lawson; siblings, Ray Lawson, Sam Lawson, Tommy Lawson.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy Swift-Lawson, Powells Crossroads, TN; children, Travis (Amanda) Lawson, Gray, GA, Tracy (Thadd) Campbell, Rome, GA, Marsha Lawson, Rome, GA; grandchildren, Stacy (Brett) Shoemaker, Tony (Helen) Ridley, Luke Lawson, Anna Layne Lawson; great grandchildren, Carley and Lawson Shoemaker, Emma, Leah, and Hannah Ridley; siblings, Shirley Farmer, Billy Lawson, Mary Harris, Timothy Lawson, Charles Lawson, Jackie Lawson; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
