Billy Raymond McDaniel, age 77, died Friday May 17, 2024 at the Parkridge Medical Center.
He was a member of Thans Chapel Church of God. He loved to travel. He loved gospel music and serving his Lord. He enjoyed spending time with and loving his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife,Vinnie Mae; parents,Claude and Bertha McDaniel; son, Tracy McDaniel; grandson, P.J. Nichols; sisters, Deborah McDaniel and Mary Richardson; brothers, Waymond and Claude "Bones" McDaniel
He is survived by his children, Michael (Desanee) McDaniel, Billy (Tracy) McDaniel, Cynthia (Phillip) Nichols and Timmy (Anna) McDaniel, all of Dunlap; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte (Clifford) Dishman and Lucy Whitmire all of Dunlap; brother Jerry McDaniel, Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Barry Dishman officiating. Burial will be in Than's Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. CDT.
