Ronnie Eugene "Hambone" Smith, age 61, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Erlanger Medical Center. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Dewey Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Vernie Smith Layne; daughter, Meagan (Matt) Varner, Dayton; son, James (Cami) Harris, Bryant, AL; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Charlie, Payten, and Raelynn; two sisters, Debra (Ted) Harbour, Spartanburg, SC and Teresa Smith Neal, Signal Mtn; brother, Ervin "Junebug" (Sarah) Smith, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. CDT.
