Shella Murphy Kilgore 81, of Whitwell, entered into Heaven on March 13, 2024. Attended Chattanooga Church of God of Union Assembly. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, fur babies Rocky and Thunder. She also loved her Atlanta Braves and all her computer games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Cotton" Kilgore; parents, Pete and Cora Murphy; brother, Paul Murphy; sisters, Ruth Hollingsworth, Evelynn Howard, Marilyn Johnson, Nell Henry, Peggy "Bug" Rector.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Cathy (Robbie) Green and Vicki Jones; brother Ray (Wanda) Murphy; grandchildren, Stephen Young, Hannah Young, Richelle Wingo; great grandchildren, Brylie, Jaxson, Jalynn, Pierson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1pm CDT in the chapel with Bro. Charlon Stafford and Bro. Houston Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11am to 1pm.
