Bobby "Bob" Dempsey, age 74, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, March 8, 2024, at his home.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Edley and Martha Dempsey; and brothers, Rick Dempsey and Donnie Dempsey, all of Whitwell, TN.
Surviving him are his wife, Norma Dempsey; sons, Roger (Terri) Dempsey, Joe Dempsey and Randell (Kelley) Dempsey, all of Dunlap, TN; brothers, Jimmy Ray Dempsey of Atlanta, GA and Mark Dempsey of Whitwell, TN; grandchildren, Michael (Haley) Dempsey of Pikeville, TN, Michaela (Coty) Holland of Sparta, TN, Christopher Dempsey of Dunlap, TN, Cortney Dempsey of Dunlap, TN and Seth Dempsey of Pikeville, TN; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Caden, Roan, Evelyn, Ansley, Jasper and Clara; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Dishman and Pastor Drew Benson officiating. Burial will be in Pickett Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT and Monday, March 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT and Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CDT.
