Johnny Layman, age 67, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, January 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cora and Kenneth Fisher; parents, James Layman and Edith Underwood; and daughter, Carrie Layman Saunders. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Reed Laymon of Pikeville; daughters, Tiffany (Matthew Holloway) Bolin and Ashley (Daniel) Herry, both of Pikeville; step-children, Jese Martinez, James (Caro) Martinez, Priscilla (Brian) Martinez, Joe (St. Claire) Martinez; grandchildren, Sidney Saunders, Destiny (Austin) Edmondson, Kelsey (Noah Hale) Bolin, Gracey Bolin, Carter Herry and Maddie Herry; step-grandchildren, James, Jr., J.D. (Crystal), Mateo, Joe, Jr., Mason, Daniel (Lauren) and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Jesiah, Delilah, Clover and Laylain; sister, Guennia (Robert) Nale of Pikeville; brothers, Wayne (Elaine) Underwood and Noel Underwood, both of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Smart officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CST.
