Frances Pauline Tollett Agee (also known as Sugar), age 89, of Pikeville, TN, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ Saturday morning, January 20, 2024. Frances was a wife, mother, sister and friend.
Frances was born May 30, 1934 to Charles Bryan and Agnes Lee Tollett. She was the oldest of eight siblings. Frances met the love of her life in 8th grade and would soon become the wife of Pat K. Agee. They shared 69 years of marriage together and loved two children and five grandchildren.
Frances was a member of First Baptist Church in Pikeville, TN. When able, she was very active with taking care of children in the nursery. She worked as an LPN for many years. Her passion was working in the yard with flowers and in the garden. Frances loved to help others when she could.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Jake Tollett; and one sister, Kate Little.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving, caring husband, Pat Agee; daughter, Patti (Lee) Burdge; son, Wayne (Amy) Agee; grandchildren, Jodi, Samuel, Jake, Molly and Kendal; three brothers, Crave, Tom and Bill Tollett; one sister, Amanda Smith; several in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doyle Ashburn and Bro. Rick Barnum officiating. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery (weather pending). Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. CST and Monday, January 22, 2024 from 12:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST.
