Ginger Freeman, age 61, of Pikeville, TN, died Monday, January 1, 2024.
She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. She enjoyed Friday night drag races with her husband and her grandson, Steve.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Steve Freeman; father, John Kobus; stepfather, Reggie Shanks; mother-in-law, Joyce Freeman; and sister, April Kobus.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Sandy Freeman of Pikeville, TN; children, Stephen (Angela) Freeman of Cookeville, TN and Shayna Freeman of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Aaliyah White, Teagan Freeman and Taelyn Freeman; great-grandson, Grayson Freeman; mother, Barbara Shanka of Cookeville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday, January 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. CST.
