Vinnie Mae McDaniel, age 71, died Thursday, October 19, 2023. She was a member of Thans Chapel Church of God. She loved to travel. She loved gospel music and serving her Lord. She enjoyed cooking at the holidays and, most of all, spending time with and loving her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Vera Sanders; son, Tracy McDaniel; grandson, P.J. Nichols; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billy Raymond McDaniel of Dunlap, TN; children, Michael (Desanee) McDaniel, Billy (Tracy) McDaniel, Cynthia (Phillip) Nichols and Timmy (Anna) McDaniel, all of Dunlap; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Rachael Russell of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Delsie Richards officiating. Burial will be in Than's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT.
