Howard "Mike" Davis, age 79, of Whitwell died, Sunday, September 29, 2023. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Global Methodist Church and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Willie Davis; and brother Doyle Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Davis of Whitwell, TN; children, Keith (Sydney) Davis of Dunlap, TN and Betsy (Matthew) Leenerts of Soddy Daisy, TN; grandchildren, Ben Davis of Franklin, TN, Shelby Davis of Nashville, TN, Reagan Leenerts and Grant Leenerts, both of Soddy Daisy, TN; brothers, Glen (Pat) Davis of Knoxville, TN, Roger (Reba) Davis of Chattanooga, TN, Darrel (Brenda) Davis of Whitwell, TN; sister, Cathy (Mark) Layne of Whitwell, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. CDT at Davis Cemetery with Rev. Cecil Baxter and Rev. Brenda Woods officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CDT.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation or Sulphur Springs Global Methodist Church.
