Jeremiah Swafford, age 41, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, September 6, 2023.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was a blacksmith and trained horses. He was a loving father and son. He loved his children.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lottie Swafford; and grandfather, Buck Swafford.
He is survived by his children, Callie Swafford of Dunlap, TN and Hunter Keith Swafford of Whitwell, TN; parents, Ray and Polly Angel of Pikeville, TN and Mike Swafford of Dayton, TN; sister, Chasity Swafford of Graysville, TN; grandparents, John and Catherine Simmons of Pikeville, TN; aunts, Annette (Robert) Swafford of Pikeville, TN, Tina Simmons of FL and Carol Dodson of Crossville, TN; uncle, Tim Simmons of Pikeville, TN; niece, Raven (Justin) Rankin; and nephews, Eli Swafford and Mikey Simmons.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Putnam Reed Funeral Home.
