Alice Faye Sinclair, of Pikeville, passed away on August 13, 2023, at Rhea Medical Center, surrounded by family. She was a member of Brayton Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and walking on the beach. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a cook and was famous for her chicken and dressing and hard candy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Clark; mother, Dorothy Ferguson; father, Luther Ferguson; and husband, David Edward Summers. She is survived by her sons, David Eddy Summers and Steven Summers; daughters, Sherry Griffith, Maria (Dale) Buchannon and Kim (Howard) Colvard; grandchildren, Brent (Paula) Griffith, Haley, Drew, Cody and Jake Summers, Porsha (Ryan) Reed, Dilon Poland, Emily (Travis) Weidner, Drew Buchannon, Trey (Candace) Colvard and Cameron Colvard; great-grandchildren, Addie, Ella, Gage, LettyJane, Hope, Aidan, Ashton, Cooper and Carsyn; great-great-grandchildren, Silas, Samson and Slade; brother, Billy (Kathy) Ferguson; sisters, Margret (Butch) Stinnett and Jeanette Newton; best friend, Beulah (Bobby) Hudson; and many nieces and nephews Services will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm CDT in the chapel with Rev. Dennis McCard officiating. Burial will be at Brayton Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street. Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 4:00-9:00 CDT and Friday, August 18, 2023 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm CDT.
