Phyllis Smith Johnson, age 72, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her home.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Venia Smith; brother, Wendell Boston; sisters-in-law, Ella Boston and Brenda Smith.
She is survived by her children, Kelley (David) Parker of Pikeville, TN and Michael (Adrian) Johnson of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jimmy) Miles, Amber (Tate) Everett, Cole Johnson and Cade Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jayce Holland, Rosie Parker, Emmy Everett, Parker Everett and Denver Miles; brothers, Mitchell (Janie) Smith of Knoxville, TN, Ron (Kathleen) Smith of Lafayette, TN and Dennis Smith of Dunlap, TN; several nieces and nephews; and long-time friends, Janie Smith and Collette Barton.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Lusk Community Center, 2290 Lusk Loop Road, Dunlap, TN 37327. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
