Gertrude "Granny" Yarbrough 84, of Chattanooga, gained her Heavenly wings onc May 8, 2023. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and retired from Dixie Yarns of Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Yarbrough SR; sons, Johnny "Boots" Yarbrough JR., Marvin Yarbrough, Jimmy Don Yarbrough SR; granddaughter, Brandy Taylor Ledford; parents Ethel and Melvin Smith; daughters-in-law, Martha Yarbrough, Charlene Yarbrough; several brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Dolores (Bill) Taylor, Gail (Troy) Goins; daughter-in-law, Sharon Yarbrough; sister, Joyce Ward; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 3pm CDT in the chapel with Bro. Garrett Reagan and Bro. Josh Parham officiating. Burial will be at Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 1pm till 8pm CDT and Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 12pm till 3pm CDT.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff and nurses of Erlanger CVICU. Your love and compassion will never be forgotten.
