Fay P. Turner 89, of Whitwell, entered into Heaven in the early morning on May 1, 2023. She was a wonderful Godly Mother and Grandmother and a member of Sulpher Springs Methodist Church. Fay was a school teacher at Miller Perry Elementary where she taught 2nd grade for over 30 years. She had multiple accomplishments in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph “Bobby Joe” Turner; parents, Lonnie and Frona Presnell and Millie Mae Morrison Gifford; Miss Sidney Lucille Rigsby.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Elizabeth (Leslie) Clift, Hixson TN, Robert Joseph (Brenda) Turner Jr., Soddy Daisy TN, Sydney (Keith) Davis, Dunlap TN, Timothy (Donna) Turner, Ringgold GA; grandchildren, Hunter Clift, Robert Joseph “Trey” (Natalie) Turner III, Nathaniel Turner, Ben Davis, Shelby Davis, Isaac Turner, Evan Turner.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 7pm CDT at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church. The family will have a private burial at Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday
May 3, 2023, from 4pm till 7pm CDT at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideons at PO Box 1405 Dunlap TN. 37327 and the Children’s Holocaust Memorial at 1 Butterfly Ln, Whitwell, TN 37397.
