Damon "Bubba" Tate, 36 of Whitwell passed away April 4, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammy Perry and Marie Wooten; grandmother, Louise Downey; step father, Bobby Daniell; cousins, Melissa Curtis, Mark Long; adopted grandmother, Laura Bell Tate.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Hunter Tate, Kree Tate, Hemi Tate, Jayden McCurry, all of Whitwell; sister, Crystal (Wayne)Layne, Whitwell; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Layne, Gabe (Maryann) Layne, Peyton Layne, Caleb Layne; adopted family, Mike and Sandra Tate, Miranda Tate, Raven Tate, Bobby Ice, Gruetli Laager; several cousins and other family members.
Services will be held Saturday April 8th at 1pm CDT in the chapel with Rev. Lavonne Powell and Bro. Tommy Newson officiating. Burial will be at Layne Family Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Friday April 7th from 2pm till 8pm CDT and Saturday April 8th 9am till 1pm CDT.
