Obituary of Travis Lloyd Pendergrass

Travis Lloyd Pendergrass, age 74, of Pikeville, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Bledsoe County Nursing Home.
He was a Christian and attended the Church of Christ at Cold Springs, Mt. Della and Sequatchie Valley until he entered the nursing home. He loved all animals, especially goats, dogs, cats and cows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Blanche Tucker Pendergrass; sister-in-law, Ellen Pendergrass; nephew-in-law, Randy Rothwell; great-niece, Angel Rothwell; great-nephew, Randall Rothwell; and great-great-nephew, Randy Rothwell.
He is survived by his brother, Leroy Pendergrass; sisters, Rita (Thomas) Boynton, Margaret (Roy) Wells and Lucy (LJ) Reel; nephews, Michael (Callie) Pendergrass, Raymond (Candace) Reel, Robbie (Sara) Reel and Josh Reel; nieces, Melinda Roberts and Patti (Donald) Clawson, great-nephews and great-nieces, Gracie and Cooper Pendergrass, Brianna Layne, Elijah, Sarah, Jackson, Lauren, Brianna and Emily Reel, Lindsey Beach and James Roberts.
Services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CDT.
Honorary pallbearers are Mikey Joe Smith, Jim Keedy, Kenneth Swafford, Jamey Williams and Freddie George and pallbearers are Michael and Cooper Pendergrass, Raymond, Robbie, Josh and Jackson Reel.
