Pete Howard, age 69, of Pikeville, TN, died Sunday, March 12, 2023.
He was of the Church of God faith. He was a member of the Brockdell Volunteer Fire Department. Pete enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved to eat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Violet Howard; brothers, George and Ricky Howard; nephews, Little Rick and Nathan Howard; sister-in-law, Linda Howard; and brother-in-law, Dewayne Cordell.
He is survived by his children, Phillip Howard of Dunlap, TN, Bobby Thurman of Clarksville, TN and Sara Gatlin of Chattanooga, TN; several grandchildren; brothers, Terry and Jimmy Howard; sisters, Gracie Cordell and Barb Howard, all of Pikeville, TN; nieces and nephews, Candi, Jeremy, Travis, Kalvin and Joe.
Services will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. James Daggett officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcox Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CDT.
