Brooks Swafford, age 50, of Pikeville, TN, died Sunday, March 12, 2023.
He was a former employee of Hubbard Farms in Flock Services and La-Z-Boy. He also worked for several years in construction. He enjoyed fishing and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Josephine Swafford and Earl and Velma Cox.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharlie Swafford of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Knox and Memphis Maynor; parents, Patsy Cox, and Bob and Barbara Swafford all of Pikeville, TN; siblings, Bryant (Carmen) Swafford of Pikeville, TN, Paige (Steve) Holt of Chattanooga, TN, Michael Hutcheson of Pikeville, TN, Amy (Wayne) Agee of Pikeville, TN, and Kendall Swafford of Pikeville, TN; aunts and uncles, Larry and JoAnna Carter of Gate City, VA, JoAnn Swafford Kilgore of Pikeville, TN and Charles Swafford of Dunlap, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CDT.
