Esther Lund, age 95, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She had a charitable spirit and giving heart. She was the first Bledsoe County Family Resource Center Coordinator. She was an active member of the Melvine community and served in many roles in the Nine Mile Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lund; daughter, Barbara Cress; and son, Pete Lund.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Nancy (Frank) Van Alen-Lund; grandchildren, Kristina (Brian) Stewart of Pikeville, TN, Anthony Cress of CA, Tarah Lund of Chicago, IL and Erik (Jessica) Lund of Pikeville, TN; great-grandchildren, Kendall Stewart, Laikyn Lund, Isabella and LilyAn; and niece, Katie Lund.
There will be a visitation Friday, February 3, 2023 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. CST at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
