Donnie Ray Smith, age 78, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at his home. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and served in The United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Smith; daughter, Donna Lynn Smith; parents, Jack and Ola Smith; brothers, David and Bobby Joe Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Weaver, Soddy Daisy; two grandchildren, Gavin Levi Smith and Hali Jo Smith; sister, Olavene (Jerry) Turner, Dunlap; brothers, Clayton (Cathy) Smith, Dunlap and Wesley (Brenda) Smith, Soddy Daisy; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 1:00 PM CST at Collier Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. No Visitation.
