Wayne Siever, age 77, of Hixson, TN, died Monday, December 19, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Tyner Church of Christ. He attended Bledsoe County High School and retired from Southern Cellulose. He had a strong work ethic, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Willie Ruth Siever; brothers Wallace and Ricky Siever, and sister Linda Moody. He is survived by his children, Samantha Siever of Dunlap, TN and Ruel Siever of Dayton, TN; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Worthington of Hixson and Eulanda (Jim) Goolsby of Cookeville, TN; brothers, Roger (Martha Bess) Siever and Tommy (Nancy) Siever both of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Cupp officiating. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST.
