Mable L. Hudson, age 87, of the Brayton community died Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She was a member of the Brayton Baptist Church. She was a certified nurse’s assistant for 34 years. She loved and supported her church, liked to talk to her friends on the telephone and spend time with them. She loved to make pecan pies and homemade candy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Allie Hudson; brothers, Elvin Leroy Hudson, William B. Hudson, Johnny Cleveland Hudson and Ronald Hudson; and sisters, Sandra Gayle Hudson and Eugenia Hudson. She is survived by her sisters, Patsy (Winifred) Brown and Mary (Billy Joe) Neal; brothers, Bobby (Beulah) Hudson and Charles (Olena) Hudson; sister-in-law, Lorraine Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Steve James officiating. Burial will be in Brayton Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT.
