Richard Leon Ritchie, 90 of Whitwell passed away September 25, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Incline Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Sue Ritchie and first wife, Loretta Allyn Nance; parents, Arlie Ritchie and Marie McNabb; sister, Joyce Ann Ritchie, Maybell Rowe, Shelva Massengale, Bertie Stewart; brother, Gordon Ritchie; twin brother, Raymond Ritchie; children, Gary Alexander Ritchie, Carolyn Mathis, Jerry Clark.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Ricky Ritchie, Whitwell, Alvin (Gwen) Ritchie, Sequatchie, James (Lisa) Ritchie, GA, Tony Ritchie, Chattanooga TN, Kimberly McNabb, Whitwell, Billy (Claudette) Clark, GA, Angela (Eric) Guy, Whitwell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; sister, Georgetta Avila, CA; several nieces and nephews as well as in-laws.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 29, 2022 at 3pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Danny Chance officiating. Burial will be at McNabb Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 28, 2022. 11am to 9pm CST, Thursday September 29, 2022. 9am to 3pm CST.
