Beulah Faye “Sister” Layne of Whitwell entered the gates of Heaven on August 16, 2022 at the age of 87. Beulah spent her time on Earth loving her family. She enjoyed every moment with the children and grandchildren gathered around. Her sweet soul was a blessing to all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 beautiful years Buck Layne Jr.; parents, Ethel and Elzie Kilgore; brothers, Rooster Rankin and Harry Rankin.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Kathy (Eddie) Miller, Gary (Sharon) Layne, Mark (Cathy) Layne; grandchildren, Carrie Layne, Derek Miller and Becky Miller, Summer (Randy) Gholston, Robby (Katlyn) Layne, Blake (Lillian Benton) Layne; great grandchildren, Emma Rollins, Fiona Gholston, Zoe Miller, Landry Layne; sister, Cynthia Roberts.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to NHC of Dunlap and Hospice of Chattanooga for their unconditional care, love and support for Beulah.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 19, 2022 at 10am CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cecil Baxter and Bro. Chris Turner officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022. 4pm to 8pm CST.
