Charlie Ray Smith, age 75, of Spring City, TN, died Thursday, August 11, 2022, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Lowe and Charlie Smith; brother, Leroy Smith; and daughter, Penny Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Jones Smith of Spring City, TN; son, Christopher Pearce; sisters, Shirley Newhart of FL, Wendy Jackson of IN and Ruby Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN; brothers, Willie Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN and Robert “Bobby” Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Monday, August 15, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
