Charles Thomas Evans, age 75, of Sparta, TN, died Friday, June 3, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lexy Marsella “Marvel” Baker; father, Charlie Evans; step-father, Augustus Baker; sister, Hazel Louise Reese; brother, James Porter Evans; son, Tony Evans; half-sisters, Carrie Sapp and Dolly Hulsebos; and half-brothers, Ted and Ferman Evans.
He is survived by daughters, Sharon Boucher, Teressa Dranger, Bobbi Jean Jeune and Shannon Dumesnil; sons, Dewayne and Tommy Evans and Rick Grugan; several grandchildren; brothers, Donnie and Lonnie Evans; sister, Rita Fay Oakes and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Lonewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church.
