Georgia Margaret Shetters Maxwell, 95 passed away April 7, 2022, at Abernethy Laurels Nursing Home in Newton, NC. She attended Signal Mountain Church of the Nazarene.
Georgia is preceded in death by her husband of almost 58 years, Isaac R. Maxwell.
Survived by son, Steve Maxwell; daughter, Judy F. Maxwell (Ken Berck Jr.) Berck; grandchildren, Robert S. (Angell Bailey) Bomar and Stephanie N. Berck (Brad) Barker; stepgrandson, Ken (Claudia Esquivel) Berck, III; great-grandchildren, Braedan Barker, Jackson Barker, Mason Bomar, Kailee Bomar, Landyn Bomar and Mallory Bomar; step-great-grandchildren, David Berck, Ezeqiel Berck and Victoria Berck; sisters, Mary Johnson and Jean Taylor, and one brother, Mike Shetters, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Paul C. Jones officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. CST.
