Lonnie Grimes, age 81, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at NHC Healthcare. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joe and Maggie Grimes; four brothers; five sisters.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Hoyt and Stephanie Grimes, Rossville, GA; four grandchildren, Timmy and Mellisa Thomas, Dunlap, TN, Matt and Jessica Hess, Signal Mtn, TN, Skyler and Abbey Grimes, Chickamauga, GA, and Paxton Grimes, Rossville, GA; four great-grandchildren, Emily Thomas, Liam, Kaelin, and Nathan Hess, all of Signal Mtn, TN.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 20 at 1:00 pm CDT at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Store, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. No Visitation.
