Elvalene Shannon, age 77, of Pikeville, TN, died Thursday, February 24, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Shannon; parents, Henry Raymond and Maymie Gifford; siblings, Rowena, Judith Ann, Marietta, Thelma, Charles, Junior and Edgar.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Tommy) Patton of Soddy Daisy, TN and Tracie (Katrina) Denton of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Barbree, Brandon (Patricia) Reed, Jake (Brianna) Shaffner, Logan Bayless and Loren (Luke) Marsh; 10 great-grandchildren; one future great-grandchild; sisters, Linda Clark and Alvalene Holland, both of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CST and Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST.
