Gene Phillips, age 84, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Holland Phillips; parents, Raymond and Ruby Phillips; brother, Cecil Glenn Phillips; and brother-in-law, Charles Campbell.
Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Paula (Steve) Kilgore, Vickie (Troy) Mosier and Rayma Johnson, all of Whitwell; six grandchildren, Mitch Kilgore, Owen (Andrea) Kilgore, Hannah (Coty) Francis, Heath Mosier, Lacey (Zach) Thomas and Maggie Johnson; two great-grandsons, Liam Francis and Sawyer Johnson; sister, Diane Campbell; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Butch (Ginger) Holland and Joyce Holland; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 1:00pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN. Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2-5pm CST.
