William L. Reed, age 73, of Signal Mountain, TN, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at CHI Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith, and a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Reed; parents, Roy and Beulah Reed; brothers, Charlie, Daniel, and Alvin Reed.
He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Reed, Signal Mountain, Shawnta Foster, GA, and Marie Bray, FL; 5 grandchildren; sister, Roxanne (Gary) Dyer, Signal Mountain; brother, Allen "Tubby" Reed, Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 24 at 2:00 pm CDT in Sawyer Cemetery with Bro. Larry Miller officiating. Military Honors provided by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Sunday, 2:00-4:00 pm CDT.
