Obituary of Woodrow Gwinn

Woodrow Gwinn, age 76, of Pikeville, TN, formerly of Hazard, KY, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran, serving two tours with various award. He loved spending time with family; especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kelci Morgan Statum; parents, Louis and Pearly (Asbell) Gwinn; brothers, Clonie and Cleveland Gwinn; sisters, Marylou Gwinn Vaughn and Lilly May Gwinn Hall. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Gwinn; daughter, Renae (Robby) Boissonneault of McMinnville, TN; son, Jason (Wendy) Gwinn of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Cain Morgan, Logan Gwinn and Tanner Gwinn, all of Pikeville, TN, Austin Boissonneault of Norfolk, VA (currently underway in the U.S. Navy), Tommy Turner (US Marine in Japan) and Brady Turner of Pikeville, TN; great-grandson, Liam Boissonneault; several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
