Virginia Elizabeth Telian (nee McKissick), born November 30, 1922, age 99, of Mt. Airy, TN, was taken by an angel on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was a faithful wife, loving mother and loved her Lord.
She was the 2nd eldest child born to Carm A. McKissick and Hettie Angle McKissick in Fryburg, PA. Her favorite verse was Psalm 4:3. She showed us how to “run the race set before us”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Armen Telian in 1989.
She is survived by her four children, David (Corina) Telian of Mt. Airy, TN, Janet Telian of Somerset East, South Africa, Alan (Bobbi) Telian of Paradise, PA and Gregg Telian of Sydney, Australia; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ellen Keverline of Venus, PA.
Memorial services will be announced in the spring. Burial will be in Dodson Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. No visitation.
